Research Interests

Research interests primarily focuses on the use of analytical and experimental methods for:

  • The use of environmentally-friendly gas mixtures for high voltage switching.
  • Corona-stabilisation.
  • Flashover behaviour of solid-gas interfaces, with particular emphasis on the effect of suboptimal environmental conditions.
  • Statistical analysis methods for high voltage technologies.
  • HVAC, HVDC and impulsive plasma generation and control
  • Pulsed power applications
